Life Design Lab takes advantage of this same powerful framework, throws in the best of Positive and Cognitive Psychology, and puts you in the designer’s seat.
Life Design Lab is a 6-week program for people who are ready to wake up and fully LIVE their lives. It is a program for people who are ready to take control, dream big, and design a life that aligns around their unique strengths, desires, and goals. It is a program for people who are ready to put the powerful fields of Psychology and Design Thinking to work for them to create meaningful shifts and alignment so that they become full, active participants in their lives!
Through a series of 6 carefully crafted design sprints, you learn and apply a framework that helps you design your day-to-day life, in the same way that the world’s best designers made the Starbuck’s app. (Seriously, I drive up to Starbucks and my perfect latte is waiting there with my name on it! What is this magic?!).
The best part is that, once you learn this framework, you can apply it again and again when you find yourself in new life circumstances in the future.

Hi! I’m April Seifert, Psychologist, entrepreneur, and self-proclaimed life-experience junkie! I know what it feels like to go through the motions each day, all the while feeling like there must be more to life.
My life changed when I woke up, took control, and began applying the principles of Psychology and Design Thinking to my own life. I began to feel my life change, and I knew I was on to something powerful that I had to share with other people.
I am so passionate about helping other people design their own best lives. After all, we’re only getting 1 shot at it.
In 2007, I received my Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I spent my doctoral career studying factors that uniquely impact women, particularly women in leadership positions and positions of power. After grad school, I spent about a decade in the growing field of data science. Three years ago, I became an entrepreneur, and I am currently the co-founder of a customer experience design firm called Sprocket CX.
My passion for helping women achieve their goals, my analytical mind, and my insatiable curiosity to get to know people on a personal level are colliding with the work I'm doing with the Women Inspired community.
